My first attempt at a cocktail had to be Dune related both due to it being my favorite book series and with the new movie coming. I wanted an old fashioned variation that leans into the spice rather than the sweetness. The array of bitters represents the spice melange which is supposed to have a slightly different flavor each time. The Cardamom bitters really bring out the flavor profile I was going for. The cinnamon on top represent both the dry sands of Arrakis and the slight cinnamon smell the spice is supposed to have.
