An Original drink Created for a cocktail competition held at the Varnish around 2013.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Plymouth Gin
- 1/4 oz Yellow Chartreuse
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Sage Infused Honey Syrup
- 1/4 Apple Honeycrisp or Fuji
Garnish
- 2 Sage Leaves Fresh
Instructions
- Add ingredients in a tin.
- Dice the apple and muddle in tin.
- Add ice and shake 10-12 seconds
- Double Strain into chilled coupe
- Garnish with Sage Leaf
Sage Infused Honey Syrup
- Make a 3:1 Honey Syrup then over medium heat add 375ml syrup and 5-8 Sage Leaves.
- Bring to a slight simmer for 5 minutes.
- Once done, take off heat and infuse for 24 hours.
- Lasts a month in the fridge.
