During quarantine I started making drinks as a hobby, bought this bottle of yellow chartreuse, and figured that it would go well in a bee’s knees. Turns out it does. The honey, the oak aged gin (also distilled from honey), and the honeyed notes of the yellow chartreuse provide an interesting riff on a classic.
Ingredients
- 1¾ oz Gin Barr Hill Tomcat
- ¾ oz Yellow Chartreuse
- ¾ oz LemonJjuice
- ½ oz Honey Syrup 1:1
- 1 Egg White
Garnish:
Instructions
- Add ingredients to shaker.
- Dry shake for 20 sec.
- Add ice.
- Shake to dilute.
- Double strain into a coupe glass
Garnish:
- A few dots of Peychaud's Bitters, swirled with a toothpick
