This is a single serving of the Scorpion Bowl, popularized by Trader Vic. The specs for this one come from our good friends over at the Bonneville Cocktail Collection. One of my personal favorite YouTube channels.
According to cocktail legend, the drink wasn’t actually a Trader Vic creation but actually a recipe he found at a bar called The Hut in Honolulu Hawaii in the 1930s. He tweaked the recipe to suit his palate and put it on the menu at his bar in Oakland.
