Hi Leandro. My wife and I were fans of Three’s Company growing up. She got me a Regal Beagle shirt for my birthday. If you’re not familiar, the Regal Beagle was the cocktail bar Jack and Larry would go to pick up women. This inspired me to name my next cocktail submission after the famed TV bar. This is a riff on a scofflaw; I subbed the vermouth for Amaro Montenegro. I hope you enjoy it.
Regal Beagle
Ingredients
- 2 oz rye Rittenhouse
- 1 oz Amaro Montenegro
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz grenadine homemade
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Garnish w. Cherry & lemon twist
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a shaker.
- Shake with ice.
- Strain in a rocks glass over a large cube of ice.
