Pineau Des Charentes is a Mistille which is a grape that must be added to brandy or in the case of Pineau Cognac. Legend has it that someone accidentally added grape must to a cognac cask and forgot about it. Years later when the mistake was discovered, the results were amazing and Pineau was born.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Pineau Des Charentes
- 1/2 oz Marie Brizard Apricot liqueur
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
Garnish
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a shaking tin.
- Shake with ice for 8-10 seconds.
- Strain into an old fashioned glass over ice cubes.
- Garnish Cherry and Orange.
- Enjoy!
