Hi Leandro. I have a new cocktail submission for you. I’ve been reading that blue cocktails are back in style; and you’ve mentioned it as well on your channel. I wanted to make one. All of the good fish names were taken so I started thinking of birds and came up with the Macaw. This is a riff of a great drink I had at Tommy Bahama’s called a Tahitian Limeade. Since a macaw is from Mexico, I subbed out Tequila and Mezcal. To add color, you should garnish with an orange wheel. I didn’t have one on hand so I used a lime wheel instead. Hope you enjoy.
Ingredients
- 1½ oz tequila
- ½ oz mezcal
- ½ oz blue curacao
- ¾ oz orgeat syrup
- ¾ oz Lime Juice
- ¾ oz coconut water
- ½ oz Coconut Cream
- Garnish with orange wheel
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in shaker.
- Serve over crushed ice.
