A Modern Classic from Death and Co.
Get Lucky was created by Scott Teague of Death & Co. in New York City around 2013 and was published in Death & Co.’s first cocktail book which you guys should all have by now, it’s definitely one of my favorites. This is one of those fantastic rum drinks which utilizes that amazing combination of Orgeat and Citrus which is a combination you will find a lot in cocktails due to the ability of Orgeat to add just a touch of sweetness, balance and incredible mouth feel to a drink. Add to that the dryness of Flor de Caña, the spice of Ginger and a little touch of honey to sweeten things up and you got the makings of a pretty great cocktail, and I might add utilizing the flavors of the season. Yum! Go make this one! It’s incredible!
