The Franklin Bearse was created by legendary bartender Misty Kalkofen for Brick and Mortar around 2012. She named it after a Cape Cod Rum runner who was killed by a shotgun blast in 1932 when six hijackers met him at a storage place he kept to try and steal his booze.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Jamaica Rum Smith & Cross
- 1/2 oz Yellow Chartreuse
- 1/2 oz Orange Liqueur Combier or Cointreau
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
Garnish
Instructions
- Stir ingredients in a mixing glass.
- Strain over a large rock of ice in a rocks glass.
- Garnish.
- Enjoy!
