Having lived in Ventura for many years, John Grogg, fell in love with Ventura Spirits’ strawberry liqueur, so he had to try a riff on a Last Word with it. Inspired by the Final Ward I swapped the rye for bourbon and the maraschino for strawberry liqueur. 49 Mile bourbon from San Francisco Distilling Company worked really well too.

- 3/4 oz Bourbon 49 Mile
- 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse
- 3/4 oz Strawberry Liqueur Ventura Spirits
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Shake
- Serve on a large rock for sipping
