Ingredients
- 1 cup Gin
- 3/4 cup Sweet Vermouth
- 3/4 cup Summer Syrup see recipe
- 1/4 cup Combier or Cointreau or Orange Curacao
- 2 tsp Carpano Aperitivo or Aperol
- 6-8 Mint Leaves
- 1 Lemon Wedge
- 1/2 Orange Wheel
- 2 oz DIY Pimm's
- 1-2 oz Ginger Beer
Garnish
Summer Syrup
- 250 g Sugar
- 250 ml Water
- 1/2 Cucumber
- 1 Sprig Lemon Verbana
- 3 Mint Sprigs
- 3 Strawberries
Instructions
- In a bottle, add the Gin, Sweet Vermouth and Combier, Summer Syrup and Carpano
- Place in another bottle.
- In a chilled glass, muddle the mint leaves, lemon wedge, and orange wheel.
- Add the DIY Pimm's and Ginger Beer.
- Then add ice and top again with Ginger Beer
- Add Garnish.
- Enjoy!
Summer Syrup
- In a pan disolve the sugar and water.
- Add Sprig Lemon Verbena, Mint Prigs, and strawberries.
- Bring it into simmer for a couple of minute but careful not to boil.
- Let it infuse and cool for an hour.
- In another glass, strain the solids.
