A Tart Refreshing Take On The Champagne Cocktail
This cocktail came about when my wife texted me and asked for a refreshing Mezcal brunch drink. Remembering how well Green Chartreuse Goes with Mezcal (we do a shot called an 80’s Porschia which features these two) I thought what better drink than to add some Lime, simple and champagne. What you’re left with is a French 75 Variation really but since the drink is green I decided to name it after a Death in The Afternoon. Definitely not that original, but damn if this isn’t a great drink! So go mix one up, you can put it on the rock if you like, but I prefer it up in a champagne glass so I can feel fancy!
