Invented by Nelly & Daniel Richter at Salon Irkutsk in Munich for a competition. This reader submitted recipe is a variation of the Brooklyn and is named after the namesake of the Carroll Gardens neighborhood in Brooklyn, where many Italian immigrants found a new home in the late 19th century.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 oz Rye Whiskey
- 3/4 oz Vermouth Cocchi Dopo Teatro
- 1/3 oz Zucca Rabarbaro
- 1 barspoon Wine Barolo Chinato
- 2 Dashes Boker's Bitters
Garnish
Instructions
- Add all ingredients in a stirring glass with ice.
- Stir until sufficiently chilled.
- Strain into a Nick & Nora glass.
- Express orange zest.
- Garnish.
- Enjoy!
