Dating back to the 1880’s, the Old Fashioned has become a timeless classic. Typically consisting of muddled sugars, bitters and whiskey, American Kitchen’s Chef Roldan has put his own twist on one of the world’s first cocktails. This sweet take on an Old-Fashioned is easy to make at home with the following recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 3/25 oz Maraschino Cherry Juice
- 2 tsp Water
- 2 tsp Orange Juice
- 1 tsp Bitters
- 1 ½ oz Brandy
Instructions
- To begin, combine 1 3/25 oz Maraschino Cherry Juice, 2 tsp Water, 2 tsp Orange Juice and 1.5 oz Brandy in an Old-Fashioned Glass over ice.
- Add 1 tsp of Bitters.
- Stir until the glass is chilled and the flavors are married together.
