The Original Blue Hawaii was invented by Harry Yee, the legendary head bartender at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki in Honolulu on the island of O’ahu, Hawaii.
This wonderfully pared down reconstruction comes to us from NYC Barman John deBary, who was lucky enough to land at the legendary bar PDT before he knew which end was up and went on to run the cocktail programs for the restaurant that counted Momofoku in it’s Arsenal.
