The Pauline
The Pauline was first published in Harry Craddock's The Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930 and it's kind of an upgraded lemon daquiri basically that's all it is. This is one of those long forgotten cocktails that modern bartenders found and they went through a whole process of revitalization changing out the rum. The original calls for white rum which I think is a little boring; I like to make mine with Jamaican rum, that's what I'm going to use. These old cocktails kind of come with smaller specs I guess, but yeah, let's make it.
