I am finally getting around to recreating the legendary Jeffrey Morgenthaler eggnog, a recipe that has been on my to-do list for years. This particular version was born out of Jeffrey's time as the bar manager at Clyde Common in Portland around 2009.

Morgenthaler Eggnog

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend on a low speed to fully incorporate the eggs, sugar, and dairy.

  3. Give it a quick high-speed blitz to ensure the mixture is frothy and smooth.

  4. Pour the mixture into a jar or bottle and chill in the refrigerator overnight.

  5. Pour into a chilled glass.

  6. Garnish.

  7. Enjoy!
