The drink creator suggests an Orange twist and grated cinnamon for the Garnish which I opted to leave out. For me it didn’t really NEED NEED the twist, I liked it as is but it does add a little fresh zest and Orange works well (obvs.) So put it on if desired.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Rye Whiskey Rittenhouse
- 3/4 oz Averna
- 3/4 oz Old Tom Gin
- 1/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur
Garnish
- Orange Twist (Optional)
Instructions
- Add ingredients to mixing glass
- Add ice and stir until chilled
- Strain into chilled coupe
- Garnish with Orange Twist if you like

The Black Martini is an extremely well balanced, complex, and delicious cocktail. Highly recommend if you like a somewhat boozy cocktail. I like the orange twist.
