Arbitrary Nature of Time

A great drink with a Great name!

This cocktail got it’s debut in the book Rogue Cocktails written by bartenders Maks Pazuniak and Kirk Estopinal who were both working New Orleans Bar Cure at the time. They self published the book with a handful of original recipes and other strange and off the wall drinks from some of their bartending Contemporaries. It was a great book and everything seemed cool until the Rogue Brewery slapped them with a Trademark Infringement lawsuit. In 2011 they changed the name to Beta Cocktails and revised the book and I believe it’s still available here.

The site hasn’t been updated in a while so either order at your own risk or reach out to them to make sure you can get it. The other thing you should be aware of is that the book is not for the faint of heart. It isn’t a how to book and it isn’t a book for light drinkers who are only a little interested in cocktails. The books covered tend toward being bitter and strong and challenging. It is a book for cocktail lovers looking for something adventurous and fun. Alright, nuff said! Enjoy the drink!
