Happy National Piña Colada day everyone! To celebrate we bring you this amazing Piña Colada variation boasting a full ounce and a half of Angostura Bitters!
I know it seems crazy but this drink is very well balanced and supremely satisfying (if a little on the dry side) It was created by Zac Overman at Fort Defiance in Red Hook Brooklyn. This drink builds off the idea laid out by the Trinidad sour where Angostura is used as a main spirit and supported by another main spirit, in this case Rum. Using Angostura as a main ingredient seems crazy, but once you drink this you’ll see how sensible it is! Hope you guys enjoy and happy Piña Colada day! Now go out and make some!
