A rum banana milk shake from Trader Vic, created in the 1940’s this is my own take on the drink. I made a few modifications to play up the banana flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Jamaica Rum aged, such as Denizen Merchant’s Reserve
- 1/2 oz Banana Liqueur
- 3 oz Milk
- 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- 1 dash Vanilla Extract
Top
- Nutmeg fresh grated
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
- Shake with ice for 8-10.
- Strain into a coupe or cocktail glass.
- Enjoy!
